hi.
my question is simple,
-can i play my samples loaded in my akai mpc2000 (not xl) with a midi keyboard??
-my midi keyboard only has 1 in/out midi can i do it with it??
P.D: I READ a lot of post from here, but nobody say it´s possible in a mpc2000 (not xl), and a friend from spain told me, it´s only possible with MPC2000XL.
Please can somebody help me?? i have my mpc from 1 year now, and i would like to play the samples with my midi keyboard (like i did with my s2000).
Thanks a lot...

you can but you have to layout the program manually, no auto.

first, you read the manual, twice, then think, then browse the archives here.

hi Macaco!

I think what you want to say is something like this:

- Connecting the MIDI keyboard to the MPC2000, performing, musical scale does not change.??? [ MPC2000 ]
* Because the sampler of the MPC2000 is the drum sampler, the key it is not assigned automatically. If musical scale is acquired, assigning the sample in each pad, using TUNE, please can apply the sound of each pad.

Sorry for your "inutil" lost time to give a "carente" answer.
p.d: this information doesn´t appear in no manual (correct me if i´m mistakin´...)

So my advice worked then?

Tu Pregunta es mas que inutil, es una perdida de tiempo para la gente aqui que lee el manual y aprende su maquina con gusto y no se corre a pedir ayuda en cosas que se resuelven con un poco de tiempo y neuronas.

Sorry, I forgot the 'quotes'.

It does appear in the manual, If English is your nsecond language like it is mine, it might be harder to see. I believe the manual comes in Spanish too.

You can, just adjust the tune...! Is the same method used by any sampler like S2000.
Coloca el mismo sonido en cada pad y afina cada uno acorde a la escala.

Regards
PD: Read the manual
