MPD 16 pad sensors / And how do you know if it is the sensor

which is it interchangable with the 2000 or the 2000XL?

And how do you know if it is the pad sensor that is out. None of the pads work on my MPC

I thought I read somewhere that the MPD 24 & 32 pad sensor sheet is the same one they used for the 2500.
Don't hold me to that though for the 16. I don't think AKAI would use the older 2000 sensor sheet for the 16.
Can you open it up and take a picture of it?

I only have the 2k screen shots

so what I post pics and no one has any info for me. I've searched all through this sub forum for answers only to find nothing

try to search the web for pics of the 16's inside. oh and pm nym. i think he has taken a 16 apart before. he might know by looking at the inside of your 2k
