midi question

how do i get the sound from the motif into the my mpc 2500?
i know the motif has outs but i cant seem to get sound into the mpc...so i can centralize my songs without having to refind the preset...

How do you get the sound out of the Motif now?

That's how you get it into the mpc. MIDI does not carry audio, just control data.
