KRK CL6, are this the same? = KRK Rokit 6 G2 ??

I just thought, because I'll buy some new monitors for me, and i can't realy decide which one's, the KRK Rokit 6 G2's with subwoofer or the Yamaha HS80's with subwoofer.... (I think, you need a subwoofer also, for the HS80's, or not??? 42 Hz......)

Peace

the smaller hs50s should be used with subwoofer
the hs80s should be ok without it

You don't need a Sub with the HS80's no way. My mixes have gotten so much better from using HS80's instead of those crappy KRK's. KRK's are cool if your on a budget don't want to spend alot.

Oh yeah?
Hmm, the krk rokit 6 g2 i get for 320.-sFr (1dollar = 1.1 swiss francs, i think), and the hs80 only for 390.- ..? So i wonder, if they could be that good without sub... The "only" goes down to 42hZ ....

Yamaha HS80's Overall Frequency Response: 42 Hz - 20 kHz (-10 dB) You forgot some numbers.
I played all bassline heavy tracks on the HS80's from Illmind to K-Def to Madlib & Dilla and they had no problems handling the low end. KRK's on the other hand don't even touch the Yamaha's in terms of Clarity. The Adjustments Settings on the back of the Yamaha's is the best thing ever. KRK's only have HF filter and that's it other than Volume control which is wack. But you buy the ones you think sound better.

So 7 1 4, your saying the HS80's has an overall frequency ??? When I do music would like to hear good bass but also high and mids too.

Yeah they do have a Overall Frequency but your saying it's only 42Hz for the Low End when it's 42Hz-20Khz for Low End & Overall Frequency.
Ah I think everybody likes to hear there High's & Mid's when there mixing too kind of a no brainer there.

No, I'd rather buy some monitors with no "overall frequency"...

42hz is the E string on a 4 string bass...
