Wut up ppl.

I found out that my input thru is always letting the sound goes thru no matter I enable it or disable it.
I know it's not a big deal, but it's not normal right?

I remember it wasn't like this before, but after I sent my mpc to get my output fixed from Akai, it started to do it.

Is there anyway to get this fixed in simple way?
I don't want to send my mpc and wait for 2 month again for this problem.

Thanks!!

By "enable or disable" do you mean just opening the window by pressing the Input Thru button, or actually setting the appropriate field to On or Off?

Hey is it a quiet signal coming through? I think I noticed some low audio coming from a keyboard one time, when the input thru was set to off...

Yea I think it has a little difference in volume, but not that different.

Sometimes I don't even recognize the setting is 'off'

u got same problem too?

Nah, wouldn't call it a problem by any means. It was something very subtle I noticed once, when the MPC was getting hit with a VERY hot signal.

(loud keyboard through a loud guitar pedal...)

As far as fixing your problem-- It seems likely to be a software related problem, since the Input Thru function is mostly facilitated through software switching.

I would try re-installing the operating system. Ideally, try installing a different operating system (I recommend the JJ OS's, btw).

Do i have to learn everything from the first page if I switch to jj os?

Not at all-- The free version and OS1 can both be used right away, if you're familiar with the Akai OS. I had the same misconception as well.
