Hey yall. Me again.

Did some searches. No match. If it's a nimrod thing I'm asking, I guess I'll figure it out (or whatever) and delete the post. [Won't be first time.]

Let the laughing commence.

Yo. How often do you remove the CF card? I'm on OS 3.08. I find myself rarely doing it. I backup on HD PC. Then to a new CF card. And an external 2.5" 60GB HD. But in-between that time, the original CD card is still in the MPC. I just extract/re-format all in the MPC.

Does this hinder/sacrfice[wtfword?] the drive in the MPC at all? The card that's inserted?

I'm using one of them dope-ass Kingston joints.

That is the correct answer. I forgot what mine looks like.

Yeah, thanks to the USB, once I swapped out the stock card for a 2gig one I haven't touched it once.

If you're gentle with it you shouldn't get a bent pin, but quite a few people have bent the pins so it can't be that rugged. I use the CF as a way to transfer audio around without using USB, but if you don't have an HD I would probably just use the USB as you don't have a backup if you break one of those pins.
