Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i recently had a problem with my jaz drive (it doesn't read anymore my saved files),and i was thinking to buy a zip drive.
i use an mpc2k with only a SCSI interface, but i would like to be able to organize my files connecting the external drive to my pc.
Should i buy a SCSI card interface for my pc or is there any remote possibility that exists a USB adaptor for a SCSI drive?
thanx in advance

I've looked into SCSI to USB converters before. They work for connecting an old SCSI printer, zip drive or whatever to a USB port but I haven't found anything that will do what we really want.... which is create a network between an MPC & a computer. It is one of those things that if it existed I'm sure everyone would use it.

So, is your plan to get a SCSI zip, save from your MPC to that & then, using the SCSI to USB converter, get those files into your PC? Let us know if this works.

A lot of us seem to be doing the thing of having an old SCSI zip drive on the MPC & a new USB zip drive on the computer & simply swap discs between the two.
