I was wondering if it is possible to control the effect send of a sample or track with the q-link sliders or knobs.. Ik now how to change tune / sample start etc.

When sending to midi I can send '12 Effect 1' and '13 Effect 2' to the midi outs. Is there a way to link this (back) to the sounds in my mpc2500?

Would be really nice for my live setup to use the bitgrunger on the kik etc.

Hope anybody can help

pity.. should be possible don't you think? Not that I know much about the inside of the machine nor the JJ OS programming

i'm sure it's possible, but the amount of resources it would take is pretty large.
jjos does a real time pitch shifting which takes a comparable (maybe a little largeR) amount of system resources, and with that you can't be running a number of other things in the os just because it's too resource heavy.

think of it this way - many cell phones today use a stronger processor than your mpc2500 does. as it is, the crappy effects in the MPCs take up a lot of resources, let alone automating them.

that kind of stuff is far better done using ccs and VSTs - your PC's CPU can handle that without blinking an eyeball.

hope this helps and doesn't disappoint you too much.
