Hmm, after looking at the specs on the page, it looks like they may have an error:

Record input (L and R)
    1/4-inch stereo phone x 2, balanced -40dBu, input impedance 11k ohms Max. Input level +10dBu

That should be Mono... ? The manual has the same error.

you can plug it into an amp or receiver. I use speakers instead of headphones. You can also plug it into mixer.

Anything that can take a line-level signal, really. Rack FX, mixer channels, other samplers.
Hook up 17 fuzzboxes in a chain for that special Götterdämmerung sound :twisted:

I'm guessing that they are a little repetitive about the "balanced" part, and by stereo they mean "TRS".

btw-Nords work well with both outs & ins :) (saw your pic in the Pics thread)

It's a stereo-type socket carrying a mono balanced signal (using 3 wires) . If what you're plugging in to can take a balanced signal, use a stereo cable to keep it balanced all the way (less chance of noise pickup). Or use a mono cable for an unbalanced signal, not a problem...
