Yes of course.
But, I discovered the link to that FAQ in the "JJ OS" forum. I think folks would find the FAQ quicker if it were posted in this forum.
The quicker folks find that FAQ, the fewer newbie questions you'll need to address.

Also, (and I suppose this is a sidebar issue) if you read the stereoroid FAQ about the MPC, you might come across a Q&A like:
"Can I use Pitch Bend, Modulation, and other MIDI Continuous Controllers on samples?
The MPC1000’s sample engine simply does not support that, by design."
...and this might have you believing that you could NEVER do this... but actually you can do this with even the free version of JJOS.
But even for the Akai OS questions, you'll probably find good / better answers for the latest OS right here on this beautiful forum.
