You have sparked my interest in EnergyXT, Nym. I have no time to try the demo at the time, but will give it a go in the new year.

I couldn't work out from their website whether it has ReWire support or not. This would be extremely handy to me. You know if XT does rewire?

dunno if it rewires, but you can use Midi Yoke with it, and you can use plugins like this...



to send midi to and from yoke (and in turn to other applications).

that's cool man. i've messed with the modular programs before to make effect chains and configuring for midi is actually something that's not too difficult to do for basic parameter mapping. reaktor is good for doing this. it's all based on the entire idea of programming: input, process, output, which is also the idea of a mixerboard or daisy-chain.
