The Best Way...

So I make a sequence, and I save it to the memory card. I want to convert it over to a format that I can email it to my bandmate (mp3 or wav file).

The the $32.50 question is HOW DO I DO THAT?

Record the MPC into itself (out L to in L) and set recording to Mono, save the wav file, send it to your friend.

sequences don't contain any audio data

U dont't need no cable actually.

Just select 'main out' as input in the record screen of ur mp.
Export the wav file to ur computer, where u can transfer it to mp3 with something like audacity.

I would just record into the computer, and convert it from there.
