Is a new maxed out MPC1000 worth $1100?

I was just wondering if a new maxed out MPC1000 was worth paying $1100 for?

-Maxed-Out with EXM128 Memory Expansion Card
-HD-M10 Hard drive Mounting Kit
-And 120 Gig Internal Hard Drive
-New Style Pad Sensors

I emailed him to see if he would go down to $1000, but would it still be worth it if I had to pay $1100?

I want to get a new MPC1000 and I do plan on upgrading it, so this would save me a lot of trouble probably.

I am also looking at a barely used MPC1000 in mint condition for $700, is this a better deal? he bought it in june but doesnt think it has the new pads in it.

I paid $1000 for mine brand new maxxed.

Brand new from Armens music shop in NYC. Dude was cool as hell and has a lot of goodies in his store.

they agreed to $1000

so should I pull the trigger and buy a brand new/maxed out MPC1000 with 1 year extended warranty and free shipping for $1000

or buy the used but in mint condition MPC1000 with new pads but no other upgrades for $700

brand new with the warranty. Why risk buying someone else's problems when you have the money for a guaranteed production beast with nothing wrong with it and a guarantee to back that up.

Just imagine if it was a car....if the new one was only a few chips more why bother with something that has history with another owner. Get it new and know that the only one beating the machine up is you.

I can't tell you how spending 1000 rather than 700 is going to affect you pal - only you'd know that.

But I will say that when I had an MPC 1000 - the default pads were a huge issue and I suspect if you check the forum a lot of people felt the same. So the one upgrade you should almost certainly get is a set of new pads (and sensors).

Personally I'd go for the $ 1000 dollar model - I mean you are getting a warranty with it after all.
