Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Does anyone know If an MPC can come standard with a 250 internal zip?And if not, will the SCSI read both 100 and 250 external zip drives?

there's the new MPC2000XL-ZP comes standard with an internal 100MB ZIP drive.

And yes the 250MB zip drive read both disk size.

yes, the mpc can take both.....no, it does not come with a 250 standard.....

possible to jack an 750mb int zip into the mpc.... i got the 250mb just wndering if it is an option.

There wasn't ever a 750mb SCSI drive so you cannot have an external one on an MPC. I'm not sure if they do an internal fitted one.

There is an internal Zip 750 (ATAPI) and I heard it does work on the MPC2000xl.

Yes, he is quite right. It is VERY possible. A friend of mine here is gearing up to do the same thing. He had some experiments he wanted to try with a big enough drive and a funk band he has access to...do the math :wink:
