I have an MPC 2000 classic with 8 outs expansion, and a motif XS6. That is what I create with. Would the Project Mix. Let me hook everything up, and track my beats out? I know I wouldn't get all 8 tracks out at a time because the mpc and the motif would take up half of the ins, but reallt I use my MPC for the drum tracks, and samples. maybe 4 to 5 tracks on average coming out of the mpc. The other tracks are sequenced in the MPC, but are MIDI from the MOtif. I'm basically asking if this Project Mix would suit my needs. I have been making music for a while, but I am fairly new to the recording game. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!! I'm looking for an alternative because I have been in the market for a mixer...

yea it should be enough. i use one with a 2500, yamaha mo6 and a pc full of vst's and have no problem tracking things out. i only use the main outs from the mpc tho, i don't use all the outputs at the same time (even though every now and then i use them to track the drums in one shot, but that's rarely)
