the fix is easy. take off the case and it will become real clear what you need to do. also get the part from vstservice.com

Have you tried cleaning out the contacts of the slider?... that fixed my slider when it wasn't working. Try some canned air.

Actually, contact cleaner works much better. Canned air has a tendency to pust dust and debris deeper into the machine. Use some small q-tips and contact cleaner FIRST, before you worry too much. Almost everyone I know that has had problems cleaned the contacts and they were good to go.

does anyone know the VALUE and CURVE of the note variation slider for an mpc2kxl?
mine is completely dead so i cant get the measurements myself off it...if anybody knows or is willing to test with a multimeter please let me know.
