I take a look at your lasts post & there's something amazing I've noted!
You're the first beatmaker I know, who use a 12bit sampler for trigger sounds from a 16bit's one!!!
I don't critizie your choice anyway , perhaps the 60's 12 bit sound just don't fit ya prod?...
Just an amazing approach...

Ya, right now I am trying to figure this MIDI thing out. Its like I got the cables hooked up right, I want to play my sp 303 sounds thru the 60. The 303 is a dope ass little sampler, alot of cool stuff, but lacks a sequencer. Well, it has a sequencer but its booboo.

He was using the 2000xl. I did a comparison between his xl, my 2000 and 60. When he heard how the 60 sounded he got rid of the xl and bought a 60. these are one of the first few beats he made with the 60....the first 4 beats are beats I did using the 2000. Its from an old cd we were selling....

sounds dope, does he only use the 60? Does he f*ck with midi?

He only uses the MPC60 strictly...no midi. I got him my S950 so that he can really get down but he he doesn't really understand midi. He told me he doesn't really need it and from what hes been comin up wit...I believe him......LOL

But I think hes been tring to work the midi now....theose tracks are 2yrs old....

Ha ha ha, sup wallysparx. I've had your soundclick page bookmarked for a couple months now, dope stuff. My faves are "yellow" and "purple". Your beats are bit rough around the edges as far as sample editing and sequencing but I can tell as time goes on your stuff is gonna be out of this world.
