hello folks.

i have problems with switching regions in the trim mode when editing start time..
when i slice a sample and i want to change start position of a region, the manual says that i have to hold left or right cursor and turn data wheel to switch regions.
it works but sometimes the cursor jump to end time..

so is there any other posibility to change regions when the cusor is at the start time position?..

greets swinxx.

tap, don't hold the left/right cursor. Just make sure you highlight the number text before spinning the data wheel.

ok. i have 8 slices and want a good workflow.. (like nym in his divide and conquere video)
when i move the cursor to region, i can not change start and end time on the fly..
what i want is stay at start time for all my slices and zap through the regions fast to edit the beginning.

how can i manage that in the fastest way possible.. ?

yea you can highlite the region number and turn the data wheel now. not like before when you just keep tapping the cursor left or right. i think if you hold the cusor and turn it automatically goes to the start or end point .

ok,
when i highlight the region number, i can can change regions 1-.. with the data wheel.. i really know that..
but then i do not manage to change start time on the fly. is there any key combo to change regions no mather where your cursor is..
that would be great for workflow..
i have tried it with cursor left right.. it works but every time i push and hold left or right key the cursor moves around... thats uncool.. another possibility would be better..

how can i email jj??

hey jj.. that would be great..

cursor at start point >

hold tap key > move wheel > changes regions, but cursor stays at start time

cursor at end point >

hold tap key > move wheel > changes regions, but cursor stays at end time

please impelemt that .. perhaps in 1.02 xl.. :))

i will look into this when i have time and i will reference you in my report, swinxx. in the meantime i think it would be best not to flood emails into their mailbox.

i agree that a minor chopping tweak would be great. being able to flicker between slices without moving from start/end point is important.

in os2xl's beta, you would have disliked it more: REGION was in between start/end point. to get to END from START, you'd have to click RIGHT CURSOR twice, and LEFT cursor twice to get back to START point.
