Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I just ordered a 2000xl with 32mb of ram and a zip drive installed. I think I'm going to get the internal card reader also. I wanted to know if there is any instructional materials for beginners that anyone recommends. I'd also like to know of any other equipment that might be useful to start working on a setup. I'm not going to get anything soon though, besides maybe a turntable to get samples from, because I really want to learn the 2000xl well before I start buying up a lot of stuff. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Just use the damn thing and learn as you go. It's a dead simple machine.

ya the manual is available online. you should give it a look and get a head start while you wait for your mp. the card reader is a very good investment by the way.

you'll be good with that and your turntable. until you decide you're ready to start recording and mixing.

i also recommend getting different types of cables so you can sample from other sources as well. unless you prefer to stay strictly vinyl.

congrats on your purchase.
