Non destructive chop

I'm not sure what I'm missing, but when I go into the trim window the "Chop off" won't turn on at all, is there something I need to do to the sample or what?

ok, so I edited one of the samples in the trim window and converted it to a mono sample, but I still can't enter into NDC mode

I'm having the same problem. NON Destructive Chop was working when i first installed 2xl but when i tried it this morning CHOP would not change from OFF. whats the damn deal?!

NDC seems to work strange in os2xl 1.02. Sometimes even i hit a pad the sample doesn't change.

Yo, everybody. This is not the problem with JJOS2XL I have noticed this happening in OS2 as well. I could not reproduce the bug because it happens quite rarely for me, mainly when you have many samples loaded up and you have played with them a lot and some of them are chopped up using NDC then suddenly some of the samples refuse to be NDC'ed. This is strange but this was also in OS2.

And by the way NDC allows you to chop up stereo samples there is no any kind of restriction on it as far as 32 chops only.

2 years later and this shit is still a problem? wtf?

I didn't have that problem anymore since I wrote my post in 2008.

I think I've read in that board that the NDC information is stored in the wav file.

It was maybe a saving problem? i dunno

Check that your storage device is formatted with JJ OS
Save entire memory in a new folder each time
You could try to return to the default settings by pressing the erase key at the start-up too.
