boark on my MPC2kXL.

the monster cable looks really nice but is of cours
WAY more expensive. anyone have opinions? thanks!

HOSA is good cable. The more expensive stuff might look really nice & might be stronger which may be necessary on your hectic world tour......but just for a home studio the other is fine.

If your using a monster breakout snake, its only good for ADAT. Monster only makes 1/4" to ADAT. Hosa's the shit. I use it for every application in my set-up. Hosa also had more variety.

Neither.

Monster is overpriced-consumer-oriented and Hosa is usually molded plastic crap.

My suggestion is to go down to your local music store and by the Store Branded or Rapco that has the metal ends. They will have a high markup so you can talk them down on it. The best part is the lifetime warranty on these items so you can just take it back for exchange on the spot without receipt if anything goes wrong.

hosa is crap they always get **** up later on down the road. i had some stereo cables that have just died or u have to wiggle em at the plastic base to get it to come on. there complete shit. haha. monster is too pricy though but i heard its worth it. i would look in a music store online and look for accersories like cables and find ones between the hosa and monsta

i am VERY happy with monster cables.

the money you spend on monster cables is the same amount as you'll spend on hosa's after they go out or the money you spend driving to your local music store to "swap" those wonderful store brand cables.

why go through all the hassle when you can achieve quality in all areas on the first try.

peace :)
