you mean samples that you chop? i just got mine two days ago... i figured out that the chopped files need to be in .wav format. ive been using garage band to chop (ill steal something better once i have time), and i found out that you need to convert the files to .wav in itunes, then just drag and drop them into your mpc folders when its hoolked up...

yeah

Idiot.

There is a pricetag on software for a reason.

RTFM. 'Nuff said.

I know that the 500 is 'entry level' but I didn't think that it was 'lazy level', too...

idiot? i dont have time to call someone on an mpc forum a pussy.

dear apple, i am sorry didnt pay you for logic studio 2008. it wasnt because i dont like you, its because i already spent my money on rent and my mpc. i hope you understand that if i had the money to pay my parking tickets, debts, next months rent, and my car insurance, i would gladly pay you also. i know that this might mean your ceos wont be able to buy the island that they want, and instead will have to settle for the island they only kinda want. this hurts me deeply. please forgive my inability to participate in the glorious system that our great leader george w bush embodies. i know my 500 dollars would have been of the utmost importance to future advancements in the technology you release. because of me you only earned 4billion dollars last year. i am indeed a sinner. please forgive me.

-peace

i love the rationalizations for making up ones own rules. top of the list Has to go with "the company / store / institution can afford my stealing from them" or listing the reasons why you (among others) should be allowed to have a clear conscience about (let's face it) Stealing.

i worry that the end result has fuk all to do with imaginary execs not missing their fun-money and in fact has everything to do with retail prices staying high / going up for everyone else.

i'm not saying i've never used software i didn't purchase, but to rationalize it and take a righteous stance is a bit much.
