Lil Jon is ill and his beats kill the party scene.....

I think all up and coming producers will hate whoever is on top......the hate hurts that much more because you see alittle of how he makes his beats......

in 99 it was swizz beats
in 00 it was timbaland
in 01-02 it was the neptunes.....

now in 04 its lil jon and kanye west

kanye loops entire songs....
lil jon does 2 finger melodies.....

they are using what they do and killing it....if they sound that bad then I expect everyone with a little hate in em to throw fire at the game and see what happens when you get your turn........???

yup and i much rather hear lil jon at a party than Timbo, Swizz, or the Neptunes.

BUT! thing about all these producers is they become corny quick, for instance listen to a Guy record from 90-93, that new jack swing style sounds so gotamn corny and dated now its not even funny, where as i can listen to EPMD, Gang Starr, NWA from the same period, still sounds hot, unfortunatly I see Timbo, Neptunes and lil jon falling into the new jack swing category.

equi-knocks wrote:I think he threw together that "Yeah" beat. Usher was supposed to get the one used for "Freak a Leek" by Petey Paublo. Those beats are almost exactly the same.

I heard Dave Chapelle got pissed because people kept yelling "WHAT" and "OKAY" while he was trying to do his jokes.

yea what happen was lil jon sent a beat cd to priorty almost a year ago for mystical to to buy some beats for his album but mystical didnt use them lil jon was still under contract to make some tracks for priorty but they never paid him for those tracks and he tried to to get his money but they never paid him so he forgot about them when usher started making his album he gave him a beat cd and it had freak a leek beat on it and it so happen at the same time pety pablo who is on priorty made freak a leek . lil jon didnt even know about it untill they sent him a copy when they were down thats why his voice is not in the recording or in the video he couldnt stop them because he was under contract so he went to tell usher not to use that track but it was to late usher had allready written a song to it and wouldnt take no for a answer beacause he knew it was going to be a hit so he made lil jon remake the beat just exactly like freak a leek

dave chapelle was ok. People did start to heckle alittle...but he's still pretty damn funny. The guy who warmed it up before D.C. was the sh-t, but I can't remember his name.
