The lights for the Command Section of the MPC 60(Disk, Edit Loop, Transpose, Auto Punch, Wait For Key and Count In) do not light up. Later on, the Disk Light came on but did not turn off. Does anyone know what cable under the hood causes this? Maybe it's not connected properly. Thanks.

goddammit read the manual, let me guess you have 3.10e installed...or maybe 2.0...the disk indicator is disabled in the particular os version...for one solution-saving memory...don`t open it up and "wiggle around" cause it's in 100 percent working order!
the stupidity of certain people is what`s destroying these old machines...hate me now =:)
