holy SHIT! the mpceditor formatted my two harddiskdrives (i choose my hdd because the text next to the option said : no harddiskdrives are listed and because I thought that it cannot be formatted while being in windows)))which contained all of my music and art work of 5 years!!!! DAMN ****

the mpc works right now... it is very shitty to to transfer the samples.. I did it like this:

make a new program with mpc editor
put any wav sounds on the pads
export it
rename the sounds vom rogerlinnswebsite so they have the same name like the exported sounds... dann replace it put it on the floppy (which is formatted by the mpc 60) ->load the floppy on the mpc 60 load each sound into one pad.

THe HDD thing is so bad !!! i participated at design challenge and I lost all of my designs for it.

The MPC-EDITOR should not have listed your hard disk drives unless there was some thing out of configuration with your computer.

Any way.

As for the damage done. Easily repairable for a hard disk recovery person.

Contact the MPC-EDITOR developer for suggestions.

Mh today I tried to get some more sounds onto the disk and put in on my mpc but it didnt work again...

I just read here that there is no possibility to transfer samples from the pc to a mpc60 with softwar version 2 .is this right? I always thought that it has to be possible to make a disk which is exactly the same like the one which came with a mpc earlier.

No it worked once with two sounds... like this ->

I download the rogerlinn tr808zip
opened the program in mpceditor
then open a clear mpc editor so there are two running
(the one which has loaded the program and a clear one)
then I put any soundfiles onto the pads(in the clear mpc editor)
then I exported it to my disk(flloppy DD disk)
and replace the snd files which are now on the disk with the one I
dowlnaoded at the beginning (tr808.zip) by renaming them, so they have the
same name like the ones exported on the disk...
I tried this with 2 sounds and it worked but the next day I didnt get again.

Ah I just figured out that this works only if the filesize is about 30 kb or smaller
