OS2XL pattern

what's the deal with pattern - anyone know ?
there seems to be no tune row any more.

also we could really do with it being able to output to MIDI
i'd love to use it as a step sequencer to control external synths.

I didn't realize it wouldn't do this...Are you sure? That would be major phail on JJ's part.

as far as i know:

tune was never sent out via midi unfortunately.... as it only affects a single pad.
(would like to see a midi mode for this)

currently OS2xl is missing tune & chop completely

looks like jj is stripping code back for more features. [mode] + PAD11 is no longer there.

another useful addition would be to control the chosen pads filter.
this used to be in the beta version of pattern, it disappeared - don't know why, this was a great feature.

jeez, not something else missing! i'm hoping that when the 2500 version of os2xl comes out there IS more room for all these things.

the filter idea sounds good though
