Ok, So I want the sample to start from the beginning every time I
hit the pad, so I set it to channel 1-8 in my S950, but I want
stereo sound.
I have made huge improvements in my beat making/production abilities
this year and think it's time I start recording.
So I have an Mbox2 w/ PTLE.
I've been using my MPC60 I w/3.10 OS, to trigger my S950.
I have only been using the out/mix on the far right of the back of
the S950.
My question is:
With my current set up, what should I do to trigger samples to start
over each time the pad is hit, but get the best sound quality? Do I
need a mixing board to assign each of the outs on the S950 and then
send a single line from my mixing board to the Mbox? If so how do I
assign each sample to a different out?
Also, even if the sample is in Mono, how do I make that Mono sample play from both speakers?
What should I do.
Thanks in advance for any help.
