Ok, So I want the sample to start from the beginning every time I
hit the pad, so I set it to channel 1-8 in my S950, but I want
stereo sound.

I have made huge improvements in my beat making/production abilities
this year and think it's time I start recording.

So I have an Mbox2 w/ PTLE.

I've been using my MPC60 I w/3.10 OS, to trigger my S950.
I have only been using the out/mix on the far right of the back of
the S950.

My question is:

With my current set up, what should I do to trigger samples to start
over each time the pad is hit, but get the best sound quality? Do I
need a mixing board to assign each of the outs on the S950 and then
send a single line from my mixing board to the Mbox? If so how do I
assign each sample to a different out?

Also, even if the sample is in Mono, how do I make that Mono sample play from both speakers?
What should I do.

Thanks in advance for any help.

the mono sound will be in both speakers, just assign an out to it and use a cord from that out..don't worry about the stereo shit you can do that in any DAW if you want

Thanks. I think I figured it out. I need to buy a 12-24 track mixer and use the 8 mono outs instead of the mix/out on the S950.

So it will go:

Wax-Dj Mixer-S950-24 Channel Mixer-Mbox2.

Thanks again.

or you could ditch the Mbox and get a 002 that has 8 inputs and go 8 outputs to 8 inputs, use protools to mix, save space and money :)

That's what I did sold my Mbox and never looked back at that piece of shit got Digi 002 $450 second best investment other than the MP.

Word. That's what I'm thinking. I started another thread asking if it was possible to sync my S950 and MPC 60 with PTLE via midi, but that junk sounds really complicated.

What is your guys experience with syncing an MPC60 and S959 with Protools via midi?
