how to send program change from the mpc 2500 to my prophet 8?

what i want to change programs on the prophet everytme i change sequence on the 2500..

Actually, I delved into midi program changes for the first time last night for my Lexicon PCM70

ok that's interesting too

i have a lexicon mx400

so how u send program change from the akai?

mpc to mx400 midi in, and set the program number by PCseq on the mpc.
You'll have to set the correct midi channels on both machines of course.
You can also use midi CC to change the mx400's parameters in real time (decay time, etc, etc) and also record the changes in the mpc.

e.g. You can set up one track using midi out C for your prophet and another track using midi out D for your Lexicon.
One of the best things about the 2500 is the amount of flexibility it affords you with its two midi inputs and four midi outputs. I don't even need to mention JJ... that's a given *bow

Analogue rokKs. I'd also love an SP1200, but they are a lotta coinage 4 me at the mo!
