usb lock up

hey

my mpc locks up when I try to transfer files from lap top to mp an vica versa, I get as far status=connected but then it wont do much else. is this because I dont yet have a flash card for the mpc?

I hope someone can clear this up.

the cf card is the device ur pc connects with.

Seems u bought it second hands without a card, I assum u don't have a manual either.
