Issue with SCSI and My external zip! Please read!

What's up guys....I've had my mpc2000xl for almost ten years, and lately when I try to save or load from my external zip drive, the screen on the mp locks into either "floppy drive" or "flash" as my only options for saving or loading. I have the zip connected properly, on the scsi 5 option, and last time I checked, it works...could the fuse in the scsi be blown? Could I just need a new zip? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey I just got my SCSI today it on ID5 to and It just did that weird Floppy/Flash thing to me.. All I did was restart the MPC an my all my options were available again...Good Luc

possible.

Try to connect your zip drive to other gear to check if it works, if it does not it`s prolly the SCSI fuse.
