Before the launch of jjos2xl in march, i want to see a 25kxl.
fully loaded with white (light blue) lcd, etc.

scsi (lol) :D

A couple months ago i began with an vector drawing for a printer who can print it on my then grey top shelf.
there are a couple of questions i have:

- where can i buy the white lcd screens (needlework r sold out) :(
- witch method is the best used for printing on the mp (silk screen i quess)
- what font was used for above buttons etc..
- is there another sulution for my f%^&edup data wheel?
- what do u recogment for the side panels? (wood i quess!!) black sedar?. (no side panels?)

whatever, my english typing is wack, i know.
Here's a preview for the design.
when there's someone who wanna do this together and help each other.
pm me. maybe i can send u the .ai file.
(if ur a serious mp user)

Peace,

i would prefer the gray faceplate. i'm used to the old akai-gray
and the black on my 2500 is quite anoying sometimes...

wishlist & price indication:

1 x 25k blanco casing ($89) @ mpcstuff / ($46) @ vst

1 x graphite pads ($28) @ mpcstuff

2 x slider with blue stripes ($4) x 2 @ mpcstuff

1 x light blue lcd screen ($110) @ needlewerks "soldout" :?

1 x White Quad Cursor ($6) @ vst

1 x orange main window button ($2) @ mpcparts

10 x blue purple for numberic buttons ($3) @ mpcparts

3 x white volume knob ($12,50) x 3 @ vst

1 x red gain knob ($12,50) x 1 @ vst

* S&H for sending to the Netherlands cost €20 @ mpcparts / @ vst it is more then the 20 bucks
---------------------------------
total: $275 - $350

----------

- sandspray to make de case clean and paint free. ($25) @ localcompany
- .ai / .eps design for gloss silkscreen printing (got it) @ free
- Silk screen printer for metal coating (still searching) i guess this will cost mad money (aprox also $100)

----------

Maybe there's a option that mpcstuff can sell a XL conversion kid for a nice total price. Because when i all add it up, it's still mad expensive.

Any one got some other options? (f*&^%ck a faceplate i want the real thing, not a plastic beatbox).

+ $700.00 for forat to do the casing (They are the only ones that I would trust to do it)
Just that picture alone looks sick as hell, A picture of the real thing would have me DROOLING!!!!!!!!!
Also I would do the side panels the same color of the pads.

Im still not sure about the metamorfose. Its because my mpc is just standing here. I allways was a biggg mpc fan. I allmost had them all. But now im to busy with my company and i can't let my mpc standing cold. I allmost sold my baby. So fnkin stupid!!

So this is another way to keep my baby warm. and share some love for these baby's with u guys.
Hopefully there will be a 25kxl soon.

that's pretty damn cool. I love the look of the older mpc's. If someone made a custom kit like this, i'd probably be all over it.
