Yeah Technics are the slickest turntable on the market. Its great when you missed that 3sec. passage to sample and you spin it back without the needle jumping, scratching your investment.

is you krazy? 1200's son, buy em once and your done might have to replace a strobe (light) every 5 or six years but thats it! Stantons are garbage! Vestax got great motors in em and the elevated platers do feel nice but they have lots of plastic around em and not as sturdy as the 1200. Trust me nothing comes close, thats why they haven't change there design in like 30 plus years.

to ba di cant DL this but if it's Qbert on the 1200 then yes tech's are the tonka trucks or turntable built to last.

What about turntable pre amps? I have 3 1210's and would like one in ma dining room without a dj mixer.Can anyone recommend a good sounding pre amp between the mpc?

i got a nice vestax DA-x1000, one tech 1200 and my TV is hooked to this each have a sperate channel it's a mixer too and i use it in my living room, sounds great, my speakers arent that big but they do for me i got some technics 12" home stereo speakers 3 ways not to much bass and not alot of watts. just for lisstening pleasures
