OS2 and OS2XL-- Base Pitch, B. Pitch?

Can someone explain what this parameter is meant to do? It is located in the Pitch section of GPE/Program Mode.

I just played around with it in OS2XL with no results, even when I loaded a 48khz sample (just a shot in the dark).

it's not going to do anything until you set the depth.

change the attack & depth. also, switch the b.pitch between 0 and 44 k. trust me - you'll notice it.

you can get some really freaky/extreme effects with this.

Thanks... I hadn't tried it in conjunction with the Depth parameter. It's a pretty impressive effect, really!

try a negative number for the depth.
