I just changed from 1.22 to 1.24 because of a "save" bug and like others chopping long samples sometimes makes it freeze. Does 1.23 have this problem? And What is the Fix?

when you say long samples how long roughly and how long you waiting ?

Akai updated 1.24 to include compatibility with MPC5000 chop shop 2.0. As a result chop shopping samples is coded to take in to account MPC5000 STEREO samples and therefore takes longer to chop in OS1.24 on the MPC2500.
Unfortunately, this is the sole NEW addition to OS1.24 we could have all done without.
