JJ OS new feature request: Amplify

It would be cool if in JJ we could amplify samples by user-specified amount of dB. I know we got "Normalize", but it sometimes causes distortion and doing it manually could give better results. What do you think? And how can I send a request to JJ?

There is a similar feature to this in Pro Tools called Gain. I use that shyt to death! Great feature!

Yeah I know, but it would require to copy the file to the computer, edit it and copy back. Thought it can be done easier on the mpc.

Yeah, I know, but I don't use it during beat making. I mainly use it on vocals. Once I track the beat, I may use it on a high hat or something. During beat making, as long as the sample volume isn't too low, I'll just normalize it. That way, you don't get all that extra hiss like when you normalize a really low volume sample. I haven't had a problem with distortion from normalizing...yet!
