quick and easy question

hey wut up musicians!! im dying to know this, how i can put what i recorded from my keyboard as a sample so i dont need to turn on the keyboard again to hear what i made i tried going to record screen mess with it but nothing..
help appreciation,keep doing the good work !!

What input did you select? How are your audio cables hooked up? What setting is the preamp at? What setting is your gain at? What is the audio level on your keyboard set at? What are does the recording threshold levels set at on the MPC? Are your monitors on? Is your mixer on? Are your signals split and one of them phase inverted?
