okay there is a site that has a whole lot of samples like movie quotes and stuff and you are able to DL them.but when you hit the link it just plays it no option to dl so i was wondering the fastest way to dl these cause there is a lot of them i was going to record them in the mpc then transfer to cpu but it will take years.
I have a pc and a lap top i was thinking that i can play them on the laptop and have a 1/4 inch from the lap out to the in on the pc but do they have a free record pgm that this will work?
Thanks-Pest

I'd look in the HTML to see where they store the audio files, then/or use an app like wget to grab all the files.

Send me a link to the site, and I'll see if I can figure something out.

what i usually do when i cant download something is hook up 1/8 inch stereo to rca cables to the headphone outs on my comp speakers then run that with 1/4 inch adapters to the record ins on the mpc it works for me you could try that it takes a while tho

Hey, I just checked it out. You should be able to download all files on the site with this app:

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/20826

Just type in the URL you want to get wav files from in the URL field (ex. http://www.wavsource.com/movie_stars/bogart.htm ). Then select the "Single Page And All Linked Pages (Depth: 1)". Then, in the bottom right corner, click the little round button with the triangle on it and go to the "Limits/Filters" tab. Type ".wav" into the Accept field and finally click the "Start Downloading" button.

It should grab all .wav files on that page and put the files in a folder on your desktop. :)

If you use "Whole Site" preset first, you should be able to grab the whole page - might take a long while...
