DOes anyone use a VS 1880 with thier mpc setup and if so how do they have the 8 outs from the mpc going into the VS1880 ...Do you use another mixer to sub groups the tracks before inputing into the recorder?

I use my mixer to get the track to sound how I want, and then I go from the digital outs to the CD-burner (for quick recordings for the car/internet) or digital out form the mixer to digital in on the recorder. I onl;y do 2 track recordings at home.

You dont need another mixer - just plug the eight outs into eight different inputs on the 1880, then go into EZrouting and route each input to a new track (you will have one track just with a kick, snare, high hat...- 8 different tracks) then you can add the 1880 effects to the tracks, and be sure to use the "Mixdown" effect (#210) when you master it will improve your overall beat sound a lot.
