They say it got very little use. So the idiot bought it just so he could have a pretty machine? Wow! Why would you want such a packed machine if you didn't plan on using it, especially if you are just going to end up selling it for WAYYY less then you paid for it. Those were like $2,500 or something, and he'll be lucky if anyone bids more than $1,500 for it. I guess he got loot like that to waste. Wow.

I just got a brand new 2500 with 128mb of ram and internal CD Burner for $1500. out the door at GC.

...Call me shallow, but I do think that MPC looks nice in all black. Akai should have done the same.

First off FU<K FACE Don't hate because you probably can't afford one, I run a bussiness and thought that I would have more time to make music. But just so you know I decided to keep it for now. who knows, I might try and sell it again, or I might not, I think I'll just box it up for awhile. Bottom line I can afford to have a nice piece such as the AKAI MPC 2500LE just laying around so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BTW HAPPY NEW-YEAR! YOU FU<K!ng IDIOT :D

I wouldn't do either at this point. Sell your 2000 or keep it and get a laptop, the Akai midi keyboard, an audio interface and Reason 4. Believe me, you'll be a lot happier. I rarely use my 2500 anymore. I'll keep it because I'm a gear junkie, but I work a lot faster in Reason, which has a great sam...

HATEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR! You are one CONTRADICTING STUPID BEEEEYYYAAAATTTCCHHH! GOOD NIGHT!

But I still give EDUCATEDHANDS mad props! If it were not for him this thread would not exist! He did it first!!!!!!! (PIMPED OUT THE 2500LE)

Not a hater, just wondering why someone would buy a limited edition with little intensions of using it that's all. I'm actually a doctor and make a multiple six figure salary and can afford just about anything I want. I own my 3500 sqft home and my 07 Escalade. Believe me dude, I can have anything I want. Also, I don't use mine all the time, but that's why I would never shell out $2500 for one.

Finally, you should cut down on the cussing. Pimped out, Beotch and Fck Face are played out. You sound like a little kid who just turned 18 and feels like they now have the ability to use vulgar language. Quote from Malcolm X the movie, “A man curses because he doesn't have the words to say what's on his mind.”

Here We Go!!!!!!!!! yeah I forgot to tell you that I am a BRAIN SURGEON, and I own 6 hotels, and I have my own G4 Jet, and a BENTLEY, Top that!!!

No, But SERIOUSLY, If you are a DOCTOR, I give you MAD PROPS!
If you are not you should go see one.

If you are where do you practice at!

There's nothing wrong with buying gear w/ more features than you think you actually need, so that you may grow into it later on....

There's no rule to buying gear except to buy something that fits your needs, if it's excessive and you got money to spend, why not, do what you want.
