Tips & Tricks??

What up Ya'll...

My homie passed me a MPC3000 to play with, And I had another friend once tell me there is a hidden function on the 3000 & 2000's... Where once you loop a sample and then hit params it will allow you to lock the temp/bpms on the sample by adjusting the beats(bars) & Tuning.......................... I know how to do this on the 2000's. _but where can I find this hidden funtion on a MPC3000???

stick ya finger in your anus, push it right up to the knuckle. then hop on one foot while pressing the -/+ keys. this will unlock the secret j dilla drum kit program and the squeeky chipmonk vocal program.

Yeah, it's a forum but you gotta have a thick skin here as you will encounter these kind of "answers" and comments often. Dude is probably just jealous cause your boy let you hold the 3000.

Dunno bout 'Tips' but I do know bout dem 'Ticks' Fa Sho!

Like this one time...at bandcamp...

I was in the woods & $hit and when I came back there was a Tick on my a$$! I thought I was DEF gonna get Lime Disease & I was noided!

The Good news is that I figured out ( as per Forum User Manilla's Post) while trying to remove the tick from my left cheek, that by shoving my finger deep in my a$$ I opened a great new .pgm filled with choclatey sounds!

aah, no dought... Jealousy is a female trait. -Would expect that type ish from a"HCTIB SSA" midi-control user, not a mpc users...

you can't loop on the 3000 so i doubt such a function exists...

You can loop a sequence but not a sample.

I think he is talking about how on a 2000 you can see the BPM of the sample if the Beats are calculated correctly in Trim>Params and if you go to Trim>Edit>Time Stretch>BPM it will list the BPM.
