Can the 2kxl read s1000 programs?

There's a great sample collection on ebay by Midimark. Originally I was going to purchase the ones in ASR/EPS format, but my asr x pro will not convert them properly.

Then I see that he has them in s1000 format. Does anyone know if s1000 programs will load correctly into the 2kxl?

I did a search and most of the results were based on MPC to s1000 MIDI. Said nothing about format compatibility.

Maybe try the manual first and foremost to learn about the gear...

I'm not sure about S-1000 programs (most likely it wont imo due to the fact the S-1000 has propper envelopes and so on) but it does load S-1000 sounds and I'm 100% about that as when I first got my MPC-2000XL the guy gave me a load of S-1000 floppy disks which I used on it. So if it's single shot drum sounds/loops you are after then it will load the sounds ok but if it's complex synth programs you are after then my GUESS would be no
