Wats good fellas. Im finally gonna invest in a power supply adapter, after using batteries for months and months. I've stumbled across this on an auction site:

12V 500mA POWER SUPPLY SWITCHING ADAPTER, MULTI PU
BRAND NEW 12V 500mA POWER SWITCHING ADAPTER
LIGHT WEIGHT, POWERFUL
AUSTRALIAN & NZ STANDARD
SUITABLE FOR SECURITY CAMERAS, RADIOS, GAME CONSOLES, BATTERY CHARGERS, AND MUCH MORE...
Main Features & Specifications:
* Light weight power switch, only 77g
* Univerasl Regulated
* Overload protection
* Short circuit proof
* Input: 100V-240V, 0.15A, 50-60Hz
* Output: 12V DC, 500mA, 6.0VA
* Plug: 2.1mm
* Output centre port positive - reversible
* Cable length: 1.8M
* C-Tick approval
Package Includes:
* 12V 500mA power switching adapter
Since the original should be 600mA and not 500mA I emailed Akai and they said this should be fine. So the only thing Im worried about is the plug type which says in the specs is 2.1mm. Im pretty sure this is the same size as the one required for the mpc500 but can anyone confirm this before I click Buy?
Thanks for your help
