I have an 2000XL and I am very comfortable with it, but I am looking to upgrade from it?
I am looking at the 2500 but it looks like it's hard to use. So, does the 2500 have a steep learning curve or is it as easy as the 2000XL?

The MPC 2500 using the Akai OS is very easy to use. You won't have too steep of a learning curve. You will just have to get use to using MODE + PADS to enter different menus. You will immediately discover how fast editing is and how much more power you have when sequencing your programs. You won't be limited to 4 programs any longer. You can assign a different program to each track.

Now using the JJ OS, you will have a little learning curve but after a few weeks, you should be good to go.

As the other guys pointed out, there is plenty info on this topic in the forums...but then again, there are plenty of related threads to every thread in this forum  :D
