UnderStanding The Tap Tempo

Hey Whatsup I recently purchased a MPC 500 and loving it but I currently stuck because I can't get my drums to sound the way i want them to after i finsih hitting them in, to my understanding its because of the tap tempo..Can any one explain to me how the tap tempo works ?

I think ur looking for the timing corriction function.
Tap tempo is for matching ur sequencers tempo with the sample's tempo

Timing correction does just that, corrects your timing ... if your layin drums and you drop a snare, kick, hat etc off time it corrects it basically... want a more technical explanation? peep the manual G
