So I've been Whining and Dining this MPC60 II for the last 5 or 6 months or so.
When we first met she was was already an intelligent chick with all the latest fashions (max mem and 3.1 os), but her one floor was she had no scsi option. I liked the way she looked and the way she sounded, so being the man I am I bought her one. But like all women she still took to long to get ready and came with to much baggage(zip disks).
So again not wanting to disappoint her I've ordered her a CF memory card reader so she can be the envy of all her friends.
Up to this point I only ever turned her on a couple of times and havn't put that much in her and never got any thing finished on her, but I know its going to be worth waiting for.

As soon as I've got this card reader in her i'll post up some pics in the pics post.

One last thing, I need to name her, any Ideas ?

Mines name is Dorothy, she a bit older as she is a 60... one of my other 60II's in the closet and the other under the bed... Dorothy says its cool as long as she dont see them, but if I want to hear some of my older children I have to move Dorothy and pull out my 60II with the 2.02 OS... I have to keep them apart as Dorothy gets a bit jealous when I begin to caress the 2.02 OS 60II's 16 nipples. There so sensitive... the 60's that is... well the pads are too!

Dude, create a name but dont tatoo it on her... no will want her when you break up.

Dorothy sounds nice, but shes an older woman she must be high maintenance and you say shes the jealous type. I get this from my E-MU6400, she has been giving me dirty looks since I got the MPC500 in the studio and now that the 60 is here to shes fuming mad. I had to get rid of a 2000 (she flipped out). But they are all jealous of the 500 because shes a younger woman and all that, I tell them that they are all special to me just in different ways. I can't well take the 60 or the EMU to work or away with me on trips, but as soon as I'm home they get the attention they deserve.

I'm thinking I'll give the 60 a good old english name like Harriet or Elizabeth

Real women always get in a mood if you try and put a zip disc in them

I just dropped by this section of the forum for sheer love of the old school Mp models... The crazy thing is, is that about a year ago I bought an mpc 1000. The problem is that my Roland fantom x6, Christine as she deserves to be called, is insanely jealous. She works perfectly, but somehow manages to sabatoge my Mp. I sometimes fear her as I sleep.
