can we adjust ticks to the left or right like in regroove or like in the motif xs??

Yes but not in realtime though via timing correct window.

Timing correct (TC) alone will place your notes onto the selected quantize grid, if any.

To shift either way in ticks, go to the TC field and press WINDOW. Use the SHIFT TIMING function to move individual notes or complete tracks by a specified amount.

While the TC window is open you should be able to audition the effect in realtime, at least on the 4000. To make the changes permanent simply press 'Do it'.

Yeah, but, i can move em left or right by ticks, but it quantize the notes.

I would like to keep the sequence as I played it, with the quantize off, and move all the notes to the left, or to the right, with the same timing difference between the notes, like with regroove in reason.

I could do this in motif xs too, so it must be possible with the king of mpcs no?

Aww naww whenh i use the timing window, it does allow you to shift right ir left but it QUANTIZE at the same time.

I dont want to quantize my notes, I want to shift them only. thanks

Turn TC off if you don't want any quantization.

Keep notes AS THEY ARE SEQUENCED, QUANTIZED OR NOT, and then MOVE THEM SLIGHTLY to the RIGHT OR TO THE LEFT by TICKS.

I produce music since 8 years, I know I need to shut off quantize if I want note quantized c'mon.

Now does somedoy know how to do that FOR REAL?
