I am having issues with the pad's sensitivity.
And after having my MPC4k for 2 1/2 days, I am reading through the manual...
I looked at the sensitivity settings on the MPC4k under "Pad Assign"
When I press the pads sometimes I get a quick stutter of the sample and then it plays. This creates a doubling type effect.
It is definitely related to how hard I press the pad and the location on the pad.
When playing somewhat softly on the pads it happens. If I play it harder it triggers the sounds perfectly.
How hard do I have to press the pads? What is normal?
Thanks for any suggestions.
