THere is, and it's very simple, and sounds very very bad even a few keys away from the original sample's root key.
Program-->KG Mix(F2)-->Pitch(f3)-->SPan-->Low-->Hi
Very easy.
Wanna guess why a motif/Triton/fantom piano sounds ok ? Not only do they sample at least every 3rd note, but the really good motif & roland srx piano patches sample each of the 88 notes 4 TIMES each !!!! once very quiet/softly struck, 1nce struck hard, and 2 in between, for each of the 88 keys !!! Then programmers loop each sustain to save memory, then apply ambiance/FX/adsr/etc. This is not easy or fast to make beautiful sounds.
Spreading 1 sample over even one 12-key octave is already gonna sound like sh!t on the high end and low end.
I think from what you've shown in your posts, setting up keygroups will be too hard. Just go buy a mega simple sampler like an ASR that auto-transposes everything the second you hit a root key. ASR= record the sample and touch one of the keys, then the sample is instantly spread across the entire range. But mind you the higher you play the faster it will play through the sound, and the lower a note you play, the slower it will sound. THis is how all samplers change pitch. There are synths that transpose equally, but then the sound will sound even worse synthetic quality.
If you are too lazy to put any effort in, (like sampling several keys), you aren't gonna get sh!t out.
Good luck babar.
