Arpeggio/Chord and... Transpose? (I wish)

With the new two great live interaction possibilities Arpeggio and Chord I'd really like one more of those: Live Transpose.

Letting the user select Transpose for a track would transpose the midievents (when playing pads or externally) by an offset from say C3 during playback.
So recording C3-D3-E3, then playing back:
- Depressing C3 (on MPC-pads or external keyboard) will produce C3-D3-E3.
- Depressing D3 will produce D3-E3-F#3.
- Depressing A2 will produce A2-B2-C#3.
etc.

That would be great!

that's a really cool idea - a bit of a break from the current use of pad banks, but i really like it!

for all my arp transpositional needs i just do it after the fact in midi grid edit if i am using arp with just the pads. a keyboard really helps since you've got so much more of a range to play with.

Yeah, I'd definitely use an external keyboard for live transposing.

I've always liked the idea of live transposing sequences since the good old TB303, SH101 and Pro One who could all do this.

The Evolver does this with it's internal sequencer, if your looking for a good cheap modern alternative.. plus it's analog
and pairs up great with MPC
