Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By TuffKaz333 Tue Jan 13, 2009 10:40 pm
Why whenever I sample from a Vinyl into my MPC2000 and I go to Trim the sample it just show a straight line instead of a diagram. It suppose to have diagram, it suppose to have a visual of the sample so that I can chop the kick, snare, etc... What are methods of fixing this problem? Thanks!

If you didn't notice Lampdog locked a bunch of your threads, maybe take the hint and stop making new threads and do some homework, learn how to play with your new toy stop asking other people to hold your had

I was thinking that also. Either record gain or there is no sound coming from the source at all.

There fore you'd get a blank signal/sample, and it would show no waveform.

If the source output to mpc is good-
MPC rec gain is good-
Maybe audio cables are bad and not letting audio through. Check that as well, try a different or new cable.

As for all those threads, of course no one knows everything but some of this stuff your asking is very basic
so step back, take a good "intelligent" look at it and see what's going on. Cause most of this stuff is so easy to figure out.

When your production ramps up and gets more complex what happens then?
